Are the lenses really polarized?
The Carter and The Weekend have polarized lenses — they cut reflected glare from roads, water, and glass, which matters most while driving. The Charlotte and The Monday use dark UV400 lenses. All four block 100% of UVA and UVB.
What does UV400 mean?
UV400 lenses block ultraviolet light up to 400 nanometres — effectively all UVA and UVB rays. It's the protection standard that matters; dark lenses without UV protection are worse than no sunglasses at all. Every Carter Charlotte frame is UV400.
Will they fit my face?
Most likely. The Carter and The Charlotte are medium fits that suit most face shapes. The Monday has adjustable nose pads, so it adapts to you. The Weekend runs medium to wide. Each product page lists which face shapes the frame suits best. If the fit isn't right, return it within 7 days.
Is Cash on Delivery available?
Not yet. We're launching prepaid-only — UPI, cards, and net banking — and adding COD within the first few weeks. Follow @carter.charlotte on Instagram for the announcement.
When will my order ship?
The Carter is in stock and ships within 24–48 hours. The Charlotte, The Monday, and The Weekend are on preorder and ship in 2–3 weeks. You'll get a tracking link over email as soon as your order is dispatched.
How long does delivery take?
Once shipped: 2–5 business days for metros, 4–7 for the rest of India. Shipping is free on orders over ₹999; below that, a flat ₹79 applies.
What if I don't like them?
Return or exchange within 7 days of delivery. The pair needs to be unused and in its original packaging. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 5–7 business days of us receiving the return. Full details are in our Return Policy.
Is there a warranty?
Yes — 6 months against manufacturing defects: hinge failures, lens delamination, coating peel. Normal wear, scratches, and accidental damage aren't covered. Write to us with photos and your order number and we'll sort it out.
How do I clean and care for them?
Use the pouch and cloth that come in the box. Rinse with plain water if dusty, then wipe with the microfibre cloth. Avoid car dashboards in summer — heat can warp any frame. At 25 grams, they'll live happily in your pocket; the pouch keeps the lenses clean.
Do the sunglasses come with a case?
Every pair ships with a protective pouch and a microfibre cleaning cloth in Carter Charlotte packaging.
